MAARS (The Parrot "Rest-Home"....) was founded July 1999 in St. Paul to provide long-term services for captive parrots and other birds in the Midwest, 

in cooperation with other organizations around the USA and the world.    MAARS has cared for 1,200+ birds since it's inception.

St.MinneSomePlace provided funds to purchase Coconut over 20 years ago, 

and she has become the STAR of the show !!


Soaring hawks, talking parrots, majestic owls, and many more rare and beautiful feathered creatures delight and educate Zoo guests at the World of Birds Show! The bird show features a variety of birds from around the world demonstrating free-flight natural behavior. We emphasize the natural abilities of birds, the diversity of species on our planet, and the importance of natural habitats.

HELP AT YOUR DOOR (formerly Store to Door) delivers peace of mind for seniors and their caregivers. Our volunteer-based shopping and delivery service gives seniors personal, reliable access to their choice of food and household essentials, so they can continue to live in their own homes.

PRISM is the place to go when people in Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope, Plymouth, Robbinsdale, and the surrounding northwestern suburbs of the Twin Cities need assistance with food, clothing, and housing; and when caring individuals, families, and community partners have extra to give.
