Midwest Avian Adoption & Rescue Services (MAARS - The Parrot "Rest-Home"....)
MAARS is currently home for 82 birds, and has cared for 1,200+ birds since it's inception. Founded July 1999 in St. Paul to provide long-term services for captive parrots and other birds in the Midwest, in cooperation with other organizations around the USA and the world. MAARS is ONE OF ONLY FOUR bird rescues accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS).
